There are always opportunities for people to become volunteers and we would be very grateful for your help.

Activities - Help with setting up events and clearing away, hosting some activities, help with publicity and ideas for new events.

Driving - We are looking for volunteer drivers for our community car. Would you like to help get people out and about? We provide the appropriate training for drivers at our cost.

Befriending - For the older or vulnerable people in the community. You can become a regular visitor to reminisce, play board games or jigsaws and spend some time with a lonely person.

Getting out and about - Help with shopping, collecting prescriptions or escorting someone on trips out.

Home Care

Care and help is at hand when you need it, as much as you need it, from our highly trained home care workers. This is a service primarily available for older people, but younger people too sometimes need an occasional helping hand.

Car for Community Use

Esk Moors Caring’s main aim is to reduce rural isolation through community events and activities and now it is even easier for people to join in, as they now have a community car that can accommodate a wheelchair.
