Home Care - Esk Moors Caring is a charity that provides personalised care that is tailored to individual needs. Our carers receive the highest level of training, and continuous personal development throughout their careers with us.
Activities - Esk Moors Caring holds regular events and activities throughout the year, covering a huge range of interests. To increase the number of people that use these activities we aim to keep costs to a minimum. To do this we hold fund raising events, like a Christmas Fair or coffee mornings.
Grant funding - We are constantly applying for grants, from various sources and for all areas of our work. In the past we have received funding from The Big Lottery, the NHS, Stronger Communities and Rural Action for Yorkshire. Grant funding allows us to reduce the costs of our services and activities, making them more affordable. We have recently received a grant from the National Lottery, which will be paid over the next five years, and we hope that this will help us to build the activities side of the charity to a self - funding enterprise for years to come.
